Valentines Day!

Hello World,

How are you all doing? We are doing well, Emma is amazing as usual and recovering superbly! We did our follow up with Dr. Stevenson, he said her incision looked wonderfully. He talked to us about her shunt and our hopes that this will decrease her syrinx (fluid filled pockets along her spinal column). He said we will have a follow up MRI in a few weeks and if her syrinx is smaller WAHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO. If it is stable meaning it didn't increase or decrease then we will have another MRI in about a month to see its status. If it is larger then we will be back into the OR for a decompression surgery. This is such a BIG surgery. Its much more invasive then her shunt revision. The recovery would be much longer. Praying and knowing that our God is bigger then decompression and if she needs it then he'll guide us through it and if she doesn't then PRAISE GOD!!! Please pray that God does what he sees fit with her syrinx.

Emma is starting to get the hang of her zipzac! It's so cool to see her grasp the concept of it and to know that she can get around and get what she wants to play with by using her wheels!

We celebrated Valentines Day with a mini photo shoot. I love snapping pictures of my sweet model. She loves the camera. I think she is starting to know when I bring out the camera and she starts cheesing it up!!! She is such a ham.

Peter and I are continually amazed with our sweet girl. We are so blessed by her and are completely amazed by her strength and determination, she is such a strong, amazing, sweet, cheerful, beautiful, determined little girl. We praise God that he choose us for her!

We are so thankful for each and everyone of you, we continue to covet your prayers. Please pray for continued healing for our gal, pray that God's will be done with her shunt/syrinx. Thank you all so very much!!
